Training is offered in several formats live in person or webinars. Classes are approximately 1.5 - 3 hours.
Our training offers a complete sales cycle of renovation loans. We cover the fundamental understanding of renovation loans and how they work. What is different about our training is that it includes marketing perspective to help identify when renovation loans are advantageous. Training is offered live in-person or webinar. Courses are best completed sequentially. The classes are 1.5 hour to 3 hours.
Courses

Covers the basics of renovation loans. The course is modeled around the FHA 203K and Fannie Mae Homestyle loan. We’ll discuss financial overview, types of loans, process and role of consultant.

Renovation Loans focused around Finished Improvements. This is a recommended introduction to utilize renovation loans. The process is less complicated that increases its overall success. It also creates more market opportunity. Makeover is designed for the home buyer, but also can be offered to a seller.

This course covers strategy when homes have condition issues that need moderate repairs where costs exceed $35,000 or structural issues exist. Some of these conditions will be disclosed initially or discovered during inspection. It also can be triggered by buyer that request improvements exceed $35,000.

This course covers major renovations where square footage is added. These projects require architectural plans. This adds weeks or more in design and submission to building department. Projects like master suite additions, adding income dwellings including ADUs fall into this category. When purchase is involved, the extended timeline must be coordinated and communicated during the escrow process.
